Their rôle will include separating stock into BER (beyond economic recovery) and restoration. Priorities will be allocated to deal with the most valuable items in most urgent need of saving. All items will be recorded on video and digital photography, and documented with details of make, model, serial number and barcode as appropriate. We then give consideration to removing contents for assessment and restoration, and to free up the site for drying operations. |
